We all think we know the sizes and types of beds and mattresses, however I have found more interesting data, that makes the Buying experience even easier.
The Sizes I have noted are as follows:
1. 2Ft bed
2. 2Ft 6 Inch mattress
3. 4Ft 6 inch bedroom suite
4. 4Ft – Mattress Toppers
5. 5Ft Mattress Covers
6. 5Ft 6 inch Bed Frame
7. 6FT Mattress and Bed Suite.
These are an easier way to remember the types of Uk based Mattress and bed sizes.
The price of bed is also another factor, we will discuss thi sin due coarse.

Whats the best Mattress?
This is a simple answer, ie: The best value for money and of course the most compfy. Often I get asked where shall i buy one, and what type, a single mattress or a double sized mattress.
Easiest way to look for value is to compare to say 3 online suppliers, and look at price, brand and type before going ahead with any impulse purchases. I looked for approx 1 hour before finding my choice mattress and bed suite. So its up to the buyer i guess to look for value. I would also recommend buying a New mattress as opposed to a second hand one, it is more hygenic.
